So, are you one of them who are looking to work as a waitress in a reputed hotel? If so, then there are a number of tips that you need to follow. One of the most important things is to write a good resume that grabs the attention of the employer. A resume could certainly provide you an edge over other candidates. So, you must work hard on your skills and craft an efficient resume.

Now, let us talk about a few things that could prove to be very beneficial for you:

1. Talk about your individual appearance in the resume, as looks do matter in this type of job. Do not exceed two pages while writing a resume. One page resume is also very much appreciated.

2. You can modify your resume according to the place of work or the restaurant. Don’t forget to write the heading or job title. All the employers actually look forward to your career objective to determine your devotion towards your work.

3. You need to bring up all the indispensable skills that are required for this post in your resume. You can talk about the register control that you handled in your previous company. Underline your proficient understanding clearly, so that you get an edge over other applicants.

4. Always use appropriate font. The format of the resume should be familiar to the job employer. Get some reviews from your family and friends. List your most recent achievements on the top.

5. Mention a few of your recent employers and a few references. Talk about your personal skills and qualifications.

6. Always address the resume in person. The resume will enclose the same data as the application but it should not duplicate your job application.

7. Always write a resume that is to the point and fulfills all the basic needs of the employer.

Do not forget to review your resume in the end. This article could be of great help to you. Have fun!
