Would You Like Toned Inner Legs?

Your body has a giant variety of muscles that pull your bones in every single direction for movement. The challenge here, is figuring out which exercises work specific muscles.

Have you been trying to tone your inner legs with little success? If so, don’t panic just yet because I am here to lend a helping hand.

So, without further ado, here are 5 effective exercises for inner thigh toning:

1. Standard back squats: Squats are regarded as the king of all exercises for one simple reason, they target a very large amount of muscle mass. This translates into more efficient workouts and more fat loss. And if you do traditional back squats with a wider stance, you can focus the majority of stress on your inner legs.

2. Front squats: These are even harder than traditional squats because you have to hold the barbell in front of you, on your upper chest. So make sure you don’t attempt these until you have a high level of fitness and stability. Also, don’t forget to widen your stance for maximum effect.

3. Reverse squats: This variation helps you work your upper back muscles while also working your inner leg muscles. They key here is to start off very light and slow to get used to the movement. The technique involves holding a barbell behind your lower back while squatting down.

4. Between the legs squats: Hold a dumbbell between your legs and squat down in a slow and controlled manner. Make sure you use a super wide stance here and point your toes outwards. Also, keep your arms straight when you do this movement.

5. Wide stance dumbbell squat: Similar to the barbell squat, but you will hold two dumbbells along your side. Now holding two dumbbells will be more of a challenge for your core, so start off light here and progress at a reasonable rate.

Although you cannot burn fat from specific areas of your body, you can develop the underlying muscle and increase concentrations of growth factors within the muscle. So if you want to tone your inner legs, do these exercises!
