I think of myself as a Pacquiao fan. I always admired his style of fighting. I even wanted to have his picture on weight loss shakes solely to inspire fitness enthusiasts. Although not during his recent bout who was against with Juan Manuel Marquez. He wasn't in his usual condition. His combinations weren't as good as they were before.
He won yes but with just simple points and that was not good for his career. In reality he was booed in the post-fight interview. We can't blame the entire game for him in actual fact. He was not in charge of everything. Judging by his reaction, he wasn't happy with his victory.
As for Marquez, clearly his team became exasperated and it won the center of the crowd and the majority of the fans. With this, we come to a common reality; this is the character of the game. We can’t tell what will happen once the 2 fighters exchange blows in the ring.
We don't know what happened; we do not have the inherent right to know. All that matters is what we see. The obvious was clear; folks knew who won that bout. And regarding their career, we do not know what's next. The most important thing is that nobody was hurt badly.
The pound for pound king lost because he was not in good condition. That is the most evident fact we are able to look at. He didn't look good. He was not fit for fighting. We do not know what happened during his preparation but obviously it had an effect to him and it almost cost him his title.
In any case if it was for money or something deeper, the chances of him winning were terribly low. But that's boxing. Often you win, sometimes you lose. And so when you attempt to be concerned in these kind of activities, you must prepare yourself for the worst. If you would still ask me, I'd still need Manny’s face in my weight loss shakes product.
