Probably the final set of signs that would seal the marriage’s coffin is when the aberrant spouse begins to defend him or her and the wrongdoings that he or she commits. When this happens, criticisms hurled by one become worthless to the other spouse. During episodes of conflict, there would hardly be any possibility of resolution or even temporary breaks of quarreling, which would result in further fueling up the hostilities between the couple. Once this happens too often, the only next possible thing that would happen is the absolute destruction of the marital partnership. This is when each of the spouses begins keep away from each other. Unless rectified, this would certainly lead to divorce.
