“Unthinkable” as the name suggests, is thinking about the extreme, which is not thought of in the normal course of events or happenings. The movie, Unthinkable, is the suspense thriller released in America of late is gaining popularity as the No.1 suspense thriller. The movie was directed by Gregor Jordan and the story is written by Peter Woodward along with Oren Moverman. Marco Weber and Caldecot Chubb jointly produced the movie, while Oliver Stapleton managed the editing aspect of the movie.
The plot for the movie is very simple and can be explained in no more than 100 words. A militant by name Younger plots three nuclear weapons across the US in three major places. The detonators are very powerful ones and are capable of killing about 10 million at a single time. Younger reveals it to the world and also gets caught by the FBI with the cruel idea of being in safe custody while the nuclear weapons detonate. The police or the investigating team gets this information that is relevant to the safety of the country. With tine running short for diffusing the bomb, the plot thickens. How the country is saved by the FBI and other members of the investigating team from the disaster and what Mohammed has to say in defense will the plot of the story.
Agent Brody of the CTU team is the character played by Carrie-Anne Moss and has done justice to the role with a neat work. Her soft attitude and insistence on abiding by the law while treating the militant are worth praise. The FBI team is headed by Mr. H, the role played by Samuel L Jackson. How these two interact, despite having two diametrically opposite views, in getting the details from Muhammad Younger, the militant, is the plot of the story.
The armed forces moved to a gymnasium of a high school and have secured the perimeter which allowed them arrest Younger. He then is presented to the interrogation team where Mr H and Broady, give younger a bit of psychological torture to reveal the information from the militant. The militant was not revealing any information to the interrogators, so MR H and Broady summoned his wife and used her as a weapon to extract information from him. The interrogators had to kill his wife as he still refused to provide any information.
The cast for the film include Michal Sheen as the American Muslim militant, Yusuf Mohammed Younger, while Samuel L Jackson takes the role as Mr. H, and Carrie-Anne Moss is the soft- spoken Agent Brody.
