Others are shaped like things once inflated – you can find balloons shaped like hearts, or like fish or stars. There are giant balloons with printing on them that would be ideal for companies to use for advertising and PR.
Some fun balloons have cartoon characters printed on them or feature other pictures. Some also have little messages on them like “I miss you” or “get well soon.”
There are all sorts of balloons made from all sorts of materials. In general, most balloons are made of latex. These are often filled with helium to make them float. Balloons that are tied to strings and clustered together are filled with helium and this is why they float instead of sink to the ground.
