Likewise, the Powatami Festival was small when it started in 1971, but has since grown into one of the bigger Western Indiana festivals.

Some people would immediately think of the cooler weather, the red and gold autumn leaves, and Halloween. In the Tri-State, however, October is when the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival will take place. The festival is a week long and covers both sides our four city blocks, and brings with it an allure of food, rides and games.
