No More Urine Leak Problems – The Indications For Incontinence Underwear

A medical condition common-yet embarrassing-among men and women around the age of 60 is urinary incontinence (UI). Another frustrating nature of this condition is its incurability. Nonetheless, it may be controlled using a variety of treatment procedures as well as tools such as incontinence underwear.

Three Common Adult Sleep Problems

Sleep is one luxury many mature adults, as well as adolescents simply don’t spend enough time doing. It’s been estimated that nearly 60 million Americans suffer from some sort of sleep disorder. Getting the right amount of sleep is one of the most important parts of healthy living that most adults, and many adolescents, often neglect. Even people who exercise regularly, do not smoke and avoid drinking excessive alcohol often only get a small amount of the sleep their bodies really need to stay healthy.

Adult Bedwetting May Be Serious

When we think of people who wet the bed we usually think about small children learning to use the bathroom or very elderly people who are unable to control their bladders. You may not be aware of this but a good number of otherwise healthy middle-aged adults suffer from adult nocturnal enuresis. Healthy men and women who suffer from nocturnal enuresis are often too embarrassed to tell their doctor about this problem. Unfortunately, these adults could probably be helped if they spoke to a qualified doctor.

Ladies Hang On to Their Marbles

It’s a wonderful photo. I snapped it when I was on a walk with a dear friend who had just turned fifty and we were up to our annual birthday banter. For decades now, we have taken turns light heartedly roasting each other on our respective special days. On this particular day, one wisecrack led to another and before we knew it, the birthday girl was clinging to a mailbox trying to stay upright and laughing so hard she was forced to cross her legs. In an effort to not wet her pants, she managed to twist her legs so many times over that she looked like a Dunkin’ Donuts cruller.

The Midlife Plunge: Incontinence and the Skydiver

I am still on the fence about giving skydiving a try. That is perhaps a poor choice of words to describe this particular indecision but it is the phrase that encapsulates my frame of mind. I have reached a point in life where it is clear to me that I need to try something radically different to reorder my universe, to shake up an existence which has been stuck in a deep rut for the past couple of years. I can see that a new perspective is in order for my mental health and literally, a bird’s eye view might be just the ticket. But there are numerous and nagging considerations I should probably take into account before making the leap. Some are emotional and some are very physical.

Daffodils in Your Diapers

My spouse is always telling me to Bloom where you are planted. This is good advice for me and as an amateur gardener; I wish I could pass this tip along to my plants. Alas, plant life will refuse to flourish if not placed in an area that is conducive to its temperament – regardless of subsequent cajoling and urging by the gardener. Acceptance of this basic ground rule is an indicator for promotion of the greenhorn gardener to the status of adequate. It has taken me many seasons to get here and even still, I seek to prune the rule. Recently though, I have discovered the world of container gardening and the marvel of adult diapers. Yup, adult diapers.

Memorial Day: A Time for Selling or Donating Unused Adult Diapers

If your garage is like ours, it’s overstuffed with things that could be put to better use elsewhere; decent coffee tables and recliners, toaster ovens, birdhouses and even (yikes!) a couple of packs partially used adult diapers. Memorial Day is a traditional time for garage sales all across the United States and it fits perfectly with the idea of Spring Cleaning, too. I myself am a little reluctant to put the adult diapers out in our front yard, but Memorial Day is also the perfect time to call a local charity; a donation of adult diapers can be a good boost to both giver and receiver.
