There are many hard to find types of bedding out there that only seem to be obtainable from suppliers of luxury bedding. Even that sometimes takes some looking, unless you’re looking for a standard King, Queen, Full, or Twin. The Internet is a really good place for this as most packages are of the bed-in-a-bag variety, which is lightweight and easy to ship.

The Kings And Queens Of Luxury Bedding

The California Queen is a good example. It’s larger than regular queen sized mattresses by four inches, but it keep the normal width of a queen. These are especially useful for those who are tall as it fits their body type much better than any typical size. Luxury bedding manufacturers, however, are beginning to see that this type of bed is quite popular, and are thus producing more and more different designs.

Luxury Bedding For Olympic Queen Mattresses

Another unusual size of bed is the Olympic Queen. If you just don’t have the room for a king sized mattress, but need or want a larger mattress than your traditional queen, this would be the way to go. Or maybe you just don’t want to spend the money on new bedroom furniture, but still want more room to roll side to side on your bed. The Olympic Queen fits on a standard queen sized frame, but is six inches wider. This innovative bed’s biggest downfall is a lack of bedding, but luxury bedding manufacturers are catching up quickly.

Luxury Bedding For The Shallow Type Mattress

All mattresses were not created the same. Some are just plain older, but still have a lot of life left in them. After all, it’s the bedding that takes the majority of the beating from any elements, so that’s what you’ll be replacing on a little used but faded bed. The standard bed sheet of today, which is at least seventeen inches deep, will completely engulf an older nine to twelve inch deep mattresses. Some Tempurpedic, memory foam, and platform mattresses are still that size as well. To address this, suppliers are providing eleven inch gusset sheets. This way, no matter what the condition, there will be luxury bedding out there to choose from.
