In order to get over anger management issues, many people go the route of working with a therapist and an anger management group. This is good, but it can be expensive. A better option might be to do an anger management class first, and if it is still necessary then go to a therapist.
If you do this, you will save money and also have more control and knowledge about the progress you are having.
The reason for doing the anger class first is so that if you still go to a therapist, you will know that much more about how to deal with your anger. Having done the class already, your program would be that much farther along than if you were just starting.
The result would be that you can speak with more intelligence to your therapist than if you had no knowledge of what was happening with you.
However, the right anger management class will put you in position where you do not need to see a therapist. The class will make sure that you know how to make sure that all your anger is properly released.
