Noosa Accommodation Tips For Queensland Visitors
Any self-respecting Noosa accommodation guide will inform visitors first that the place is famous for being a responsible tourism destination. The hotels and other lodging options usually are in sync with local sentiments about not wasting resources, recycling, etc. But on the other hand, Noosa is also famous for its bevy of upscale and luxury resorts.
So there’s a choice regarding the type of accommodations that has to be made by travelers. It will likely be dependent more on their budget than on any notions of being eco-friendly, but it does matter a little bit. In terms of price ranges, Noosa has everything from extremely cheap backpackers to expansive villas and luxury resorts in locations close to Hastings Street and Main Beach and the Nat’l Park.
For travelers who need all the modern comforts and amenities in a very nice hotel or resort, there are two choices. The first choice is a luxury hotel/resort on Hastings St., where they treat guests like royalty. Facilities offered will include spas, restaurants and valet parking and laundry service.
The Outdoor pools at these hotels are so good that travelers will find it hard to choose between hanging out poolside or at the beach. The rooms will have views of Laguna Bay, Noosa Village or the river. Commonly available amenities include refrigerators, cable tv, coffee makers and hairdryers, among other things.
For those planning on an extended stay or in need of more space and privacy, there is another choice. This refers to a nice collection of serviced apartment resorts. These are somewhat in-between private apartments and resort suites, because the service and facilities are like a resort while the accommodation is in a private apartment.
A notch above this on the budget, travelers will find cottages, guesthouses and chalets. There are many options within this, including gated estates, country cottages and rainforest retreats. Some are located within a short drive from Hastings Street. Other beachfront vacation homes are more secluded, tucked into the sand dunes with the water a few steps away.
One step below the luxury resorts, there are many fairly decent chain hotels that offer all the comforts of home at an affordable price for families on vacation. For those looking at a ‘responsible’ stay in harmony with nature, there are plenty of caravan parks and campsites. Some visitors might even enjoy an exotic experience in a houseboat stay on the river.
Whatever the choice from amongst all these Noosa accommodation choices, the one thing that can be said for certain is that the stay will be an enjoyable one. After all, there is so much to see and do, including whale watching, the beautiful hinterland and the many wonderful beaches. Not to mention Fraser Island – the world’s largest sand island.
So it’s fair to say that Noosa is a getaway paradise for travelers from Brisbane and elsewhere in Queensland. It depends a lot on its tourism, so residents and businesses know that a getaway means relaxation and fun, and this includes comfortable and hassle-free accommodation. Travelers can therefore expect a warm welcome, whether it is in a backpacker or a luxury resort.
Ruth Grant grew up around the south coast of Victoria and relocated to Noosa to check out her goal of being involved in the holiday accommodation field. She’s since opened up her very own Noosa accommodation business that offers an array of both inexpensive in addition to luxury options.
