You should also understand that you are not going to be offered a job based on the format of your resume alone. There are many job seekers who select a format for their resume based on personal circumstances. In particular job seekers who have never worked at any one company for a considerable amount of time may be concerned potential employer will think they are not capable of keeping a job so they might opt for a functional format resume. In conclusion do not allow resume formats to dictate your resume. Never leave out information that is important or include information that is not relevant just because a particular format calls for certain types of information. This can actually prevent you from getting a great job.
