In this movie, ‘Po’ is a Panda who is really fond of Kung fu. Po runs a noodle shop and is lazy enough to learn the art of Kung fu. However, the story takes a major turn with the entrance of an age-old prophecy in it. According to this ancient prophecy, ‘Po’ is supposed to save Valley of Peace from menaces.
After the declaration of this prophecy Po sets out on his journey to fulfil his duty of saving the Valley of Peace. He meets up with the Kung fu stars Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Mantis (Seth Rogan), Crane (David Cross), Monkey (Jackie Chan) and Viper
No sooner does he begin his Kung Fu practice, then they get to know about the threat represented by the evil snow leopard Tai Lung (Ian McShane) that only Po can combat with his Kung Fu skills. Po unfortunately finds he’s no good at Kung Fu and has lost all confidence in himself as a result. He tries to flee from his responsibilities but is forced back by Master Shifu who tells him he can transform Po into a Dragon Warrior capable of taking on Tai Lung.
Grasping storyline, witty humour and interesting plot are some elements of the movie that succeed at keeping the viewers glued to the screen. The overwhelming response received by Kung fu Panda at the 61st Cannes Film Festival was clearly evident which was followed by the release of this movie over the rest of the world.
Kung Fu Panda is definitely a movie that can be watched again and again. Though it’s been released on DVD and Blu-Ray Disc since, there’s no need for you to spend from your pocket to enjoy this well-made animation all over again.

Me and my dad had been great Jackie Chan fans ever since he first got to the screen (actually it was my dad who witnessed his first movie, lol)
His first movie was entitled “Snake In The Eagles Shadow“, that was his first time he starred as the leading main character.
I’ve also watched Drunken Master II and Police Story. They were classics.
I also think that the old Jackie Chan films are way better than the new ones that are coming out today. Perhaps because his recent films are slowly becoming americanized.
