We slept at the Landmark for a special event. We’d booked a Deluxe room but ended up upgraded at check in to an Executive room looking over the Winter Garden atrium. Registering was what we expect from a 5 star hotel. Professional, managed and also well-mannered with the member of staff coping with you only without other distractions. The room requests had been fulfilled without being prompted, even for that upgraded room and we have been shown to the lifts from the front desk staff. It had been a great start.
The room was fabulous – large, with taste equipped (in a Four Seasons fashion) with a few great details such as an umbrella in the vestibule area and digital weighing scales!. Like the room, the bathroom was large with independent dressing/sinks spots, bath and big walk-in shower and independent toilet. Water pressure was great. Really the only issues have been the very outdated CRT tv as well as the absent room safe that left a opening over the minibar.
The area was extremely calm and the windows offered fine sound proofing however there were little action inside the atrium later on at dusk.
There was breakfast in the atrium’s Winter Garden included in our room price. The meal was outstanding.
