At the time of installation of under counter water filter system, you need to differentiate between the warm and cold pipes. You can do it simply by touching them. Keep on running the taps for few minutes so that you can easily differentiate between them. You need to find out the pipe through which cold water flows.
After making sure that there is no corrosion or obstruction, a section of pipe has to be installed with the saddle valve clamping device. The saddle valve resembles a small valve and is the device that has tubing attached.
You need to install the cartridge by simply placing it and then screwing it up. It is generally installed on the housing of the filter. Now you need to mount the re-assembled housing of the filter on to the bracket.
At last, install the drinking water tap or faucet for the under counter water filter. Drill a hole in the sink for this and then put the tap and its tubing on right place. You need to attach the red tube in the bucket with filter housing’s input side. Once you are done, you can turn the saddle valve’s T-bar in anti-clockwise direction and then water will start flowing to the tap through the filter housing where it flows from the red tube.
