How To Select Binoculars For Viewing At A Stadium

June 25, 2009 by

Binoculars can provide that close action that you crave for when watching a tennis game or a baseball game. In fact even if you pay thousands of dollars for the front row seat the chances are that you still will be very much handicapped in terms the overall view. In most cases the stadiums are too big that you just cannot see what is happening on the other end.

You need to have the binoculars which are just perfect for having the complete and entire view of the stadium. Same hold true for indoor stadiums as well as theaters. General purpose binoculars will also work fine in this case provided you have the correct zoom and the magnification.

Filed of view is the most critical thing when you are buying binoculars for spectator events. This one element if you get it right will get you those binoculars as spectator that you will never repent.

The field of view is measured in angular degrees or the distance in feet that you can see from one end to the other. The field of view of binocular is greater for lesser magnification binoculars and it is lower for higher magnification binoculars. So buy the binoculars which have optimum magnification.

8x or 10x is the best magnification for the binoculars and it definitely has that perfect field of view. This will give you a good span of view and you will be able to see the entire field.

In general within the stadium or in a theatre the heavy binoculars will not do and you will have to have very light optimum sized binoculars.
