The education required to become an electrician can be got through a vocational college or a technical school. Maintenance electricians are expected to get more job opportunities than a construction electrician. The basic pay of an electrician is based on his skills and experience.

Hence, you can see that there are many job opportunities for an electrician.

An industrial electrician does work on heavy machines and large electrical appliances. Maintenance electricians mainly do the maintenance tasks at factories, hospitals and other such places. They repair any electrical device or may also check the proper working of electrical devices like he can do regular electrical inspection at various industries. Commercial electricians work at commercial places like office or factory buildings. At last a general electrician is called for residential issues such as repair of damaged devices, outlets, circuit breaker etc. All the electrical issues of a home are solved by a general electrician.
