Getting Six- Pack Abs
I recall a product called Slim fast advertising overweight people suddenly having a set of six-pack abs. As the years pass, there have been so many ideas coming out in promoting how to get a rock tight abs. Some drinks and special machines are the most common tricks.
I wanted to stop the idea that obtaining great abs involves magic. Genetics is one of the factors in having a beautifully-shaped abs. Moreover, there are two more important factors: Diet and Exercise.
The first factor, diet, is easy. You just have to get rid of that extra fat. When you lose weight, your whole body loses weight as well, not just a part. For example, you have a large tummy. When you diet, your legs will also become slender along with your stomach. What you didn’t know is that the fat on your tummy loses faster because it is where most of your fats are and are the easiest to use. Spot reduction is not true when it comes to losing weight.
Probably you have read on this from my other posts that I have the same opinion regarding people taking in too many cabs; however I still do not agree to the Atkins diet. I suggest that your calorie intake is composed of 20% of protein, 20% of fats and 60% of carbohydrates. When you have problems losing weight effectively, be sensitive to eating less carbs and add up your protein intake a bit.
The exercise. Two things are important to be able to build great abs. First, an hour of cardio exercise a day will increase your chemical burning, therefore burning the fat quickly; is necessary. Second, start your workout with some abdominal exercises.
One great thing on having a strong abs, aside from being better-looking, is when you toughen your core makes you tough all throughout; build better balance and your stamina. Depending on the fat you need to lose, follow these suggestions and you will see results quickly.
