You don’t want to look under there and see metals that are easy to corrode; make sure that it is together sturdy and that all joints are well designed. The bed itself is extra important, and whether it is of wood or metal or wood covered with rubber, it should be thick and of sturdy construction. You may risk losing the entire cargo load if the joints or the bottom of your piece of junk trailer falls apart; so get a good one in the beginning and you won’t have to worry about damaged goods or an injured person.
When you make foolish choices on such an investment you are at risk for a lawsuit if you lose or damage the cargo; you also can risk someone’s life and you cannot take the chance on that. This is not the time to count your change, you really need to pay attention and get the right merchandise the first time around to eliminate mistakes that could have been prevented in the first place. If you spend the money on the right tools to begin with you will be able to haul anything that you need to safely.
