Eating the Right Food is the Key to Lose Weight for Body Type D

July 30, 2009 by

Being a Body Type “D” is hard, especially when trying to lose weight. A D person will have a harder time losing weight than other body types. The reason why losing weight is so hard for you is because you do not have enough muscle tissue to burn the calories required to lose weight.

Learning how to battle your weight is all about eating the right types of foods. As a body type D, you will want to make sure to eat complex carbohydrates (in moderation) as these types of carbs will break down slower in your body, which means you will feel fuller longer and will not have insulin “spikes”.

Did you know that eating no carbohydrates is very bad for you? If you lift weights to gain muscle mass, eating the right type of carbohydrates is very important to ensure that you maintain your mass. Diets without carbohydrates means that your body will break down your lean muscle tissue to convert into energy for your brain and other vital organs.

You need to eat more protein to lose weight. The consumption of protein is very important for you to lose weight. Protein helps build lean muscle. When you build more lean muscle, you will have the ability to burn calories at a faster rate.

Starving yourself is the last thing you want to do when trying to lose weight. Your body has trouble maintaining lean muscle tissue and when you diet, you end up not consuming enough of the right foods to lose weight. Your body goes into starvation mode and hordes the calories that it consumes, which means more weight gain. The goal of the any eating program, especially the 6 Week Body Makeover is to lose weight by eating healthy foods and eating more food.
