Individuals working in green technologies and industries can be found in solar energy, building design, hydro energy, and many other parts of new construction and retro-fitting of older buildings. When a building or alternative energy source is designed and created using green technology, it is inspected by a LEED Green Associate prior to it receiving the LEED certification.
