For those that still think it is expensive to install a solar power system in your house probably are not aware of the current trends by the governments to help its citizens to use clean energy to combat global warming. Entrepreneurs and innovative companies have also come up with Do-It-Yourself solar products that enable any motivated green energy enthusiast to build their own systems from scratch let alone reduce their power bills. Some people pour dust on these DIY products claiming that they are fraudulent and scams. For people to view these as mere opinions instead they take these personal outbursts as gospel!

In order to make the best decision about residential solar power, several important points need to be considered. Some homeowners may discard the idea of using solar power in their homes just because of the perceived costs associated with purchasing and installing a residential solar power system. Some believe the costs are beyond their reach even before they could know the preliminary elements needed in a solar power system. Yes, in the past installation or use of solar power in the home would be an expensive task, requiring a huge upfront cost. Those days are over now. Governments are providing subsidies, rebates, soft mortgage loans, etc to new and existing homeowners so that solar power for residential use is easily attainable at minimum cost.
