Are You Going To College?
Are you a single woman, even a single mother, that wants to go back to school for a college degree? If you are, then I have some great news for you! Well, did you know that there are companies willing to pay for you to go back to school, or at the very least help you to do that? Keep reading to find out more about these companies.
Surprisingly, the government is one of the companies! Obama is handing out $10,000 scholarships to single mothers wanting to go back to school. This is one reason why so many companies are wanting to get in on the action and provide for many single mothers to go back to school for a college degree. Because they benefit from it as well, not just you!
They’re easy to apply for – simply find an application, fill it out, and complete a questionnaire, and you’re done! That’s all you’ll need to do to apply for a scholarship or grant. There are many grants that are given each year, an example is the Pell Grant that gives students $5000 per year to go to school.
However, the easiest scholarships or grants to get are the ones that aren’t very large, but simply enough to pay your bills while you go back to college. These are extremely common, and are readily available in large amounts to any single mother wishing to go back to college.
One thing to remember, however, is that you’ll need to maintain a 3.0 at least for most scholarships to be able to keep them. If your GPA falls below that, then you’ll most likely lose it. Don’t forget that! Be sure to keep the dream alive of going to college as when you get a college degree, you will be able to make many good financial decisions in your life. There is nothing that can stop you once you make the decision to press on and get that college degree once and for all.
