Access Healthy Weight Loss

June 7, 2010 by

People usually measure their weight loss. And they typically measure it using one of two measurements: pounds and inches. Weight loss clinics and other dieting institutions require that dieters to keep track of their weight on a daily basis. They require them to come in to be measured (weight and inches). Keeping track can provide dieters with definite benefits while they attempt to reach weight loss goals set down in the beginning of their program.

In addition to taking it upon themselves to ensure that dieters are actually losing weight…professionals in the weight loss industry are feeling more pressure to be responsible when it comes to ensuring that dieters are accessing healthy weight loss. They are the ones that need to be making sure that dieters are losing weight in a healthy fashion. They have to remember to consider:

1. A healthy weight loss goal. Many dieters begin their dieting with an unhealthy weight loss goal. This is not only frustrating, but can be detrimental to their health as some of them might actually reach their weight loss goals in spite of the fact that they are not healthy. Professionals should feel responsible for providing healthy weight loss information and guidance.

2. Yo-yo dieting. Many dieters don’t just diet, lose weight and go on with their lives. Many dieters lose weight, gain weight, lose weight, gain weight. etc. This is what is called yo-yo dieting. Yo-yo dieting is not a healthy option. Dieters who find themselves fitting this mold need to evaluate the reasons behind this negative cycle and stop it.

3. Extreme, fad dieting. There are countless negative dieting techniques available to the average consumer. Many will provide results. But in providing these results they can cause irreparable damage to the body. Considering the possible negative effects of any diet that seems strange and/or random is a good idea.

Some dieters may find themselves confused by their first signs of weight loss success. They might lose 10 pounds and decide that they know what’s going on. They start to make adjustments to their weight loss program of choice hoping to increase their results by making the diet more extreme. This is not logical.

This type of dieter might figure that if limiting themselves to 500 calories per day resulted in a pound of weight loss per day…then dropping another 250 calories per day might increase that to 2 pounds per day. They might figure that limiting themselves to a short list of foods resulted in weight loss so limiting themselves to one food would result in more. These are not good ideas and they are not healthy ideas.

When dieters start to make their own changes to the homeopathic HCG dieting protocol so that they can lose more weight they end up without the results they are looking for. The protocol was designed by an expert and has been honed throughout the years so that it offers maximum weight loss. The rules are there for a reason. Individual adjustments can only decrease the amount of weight loss.

Amelia Handley studied exercise science at university with a minor in Nutrition. Yet she still found herself jumping from diet to diet in order to control her weight. With HCG Diet Direct she’s found a program that allows her to combine her desire to control her own body weight with her education and not feel off balance.
