So, it stands to reason that when the two breeds are mixed, the resulting dog would also be beloved. This resulting breed is the new labradoodle and has indeed really made a splash. In order to qualify as minis, a labradoodle’s parents should be a Lab and a toy poodle. If the mix is a Lab with a standard or miniature poodle, the name ‘labradoodle’ typically applies. As you might expect, these are larger than minis.
Should you decide to adopt a mini, keep in mind that the breed is fairly new. Therefore, blanket statements regarding the characteristics and personalities really cannot be made. It would not be strange for them to simply want to hang around a pool. Also, if doggy odor turns you off, the good news with this breed is that they tend to suffer from that less.
